Golden Canola Field Portraits in Alberta For a limited time each July, Sterling Photography & Marketing offers Canola Field Mini Sessions on a private family farm located just north of Onoway, Alberta. These sessions are designed for: Immediate Families Couples Individual Portraits The bright yellow blooms create a beautiful summer backdrop and provide a unique Alberta setting for timeless portraits. If weather conditions make the session impossible or unsafe, an alternate date will be arranged. You’ll arrive at a private farmyard where you’ll be greeted and guided to the photography location, just a short walk from the parking area. Please note this is an active working farm, with dogs and equipment moving throughout the yard. While the farm is notified of scheduled sessions, we cannot guarantee operations will pause during your time here. Your session location is set off to the side of the yard, away from the main activity. For safety, all children must be kept within reach and should not be running freely. By booking your session, you acknowledge and accept that this is a working farm environment.
Cancellation Policy
Payment Policy: Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your session date. Bookings are not confirmed until payment has been received. Payments can be made via e-transfer to sterling.photography@outlook.com. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy: Cancellations made 48 hours or more in advance will receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance are subject to a 50% cancellation fee. Rescheduling is possible with a minimum of 5 hours' notice before your session. If you choose to reschedule, the nonrefundable retainer will be forfeited, but any additional payments made will be credited to a new session date. A new retainer may be required, depending on availability and timing. Late Arrivals: Arriving more than 10 minutes late may compromise your session time, and we cannot extend the session beyond the scheduled end time. The session fee will not be refunded. Session Terms: The Photographer has artistic discretion over all images and editing. While specific poses or shots are welcome, no guarantees can be made. All final images will be delivered via a private online gallery. The Photographer will retain all copyrights for the images. Image storage is the client’s responsibility. The Photographer is not liable for the loss or damage of images after delivery. All sessions are subject to availability.
