PEOPLE FIRST
Real connections and genuine moments always come first.
I’m Angel, the photographer behind Sterling Photography & Marketing. I’m based near Onoway, Alberta, where I live on a grain and cattle farm with my partner, Riley. Life here keeps me busy, grounded, and constantly inspired.
Photography has always been more than just a job for me. It’s how I tell stories. I love capturing the real, in-between moments, the connections, and the details that make your story unique. Whether it’s a growing family, a milestone graduation, an intimate wedding, or the beauty of rural life, my goal is to create timeless, true-to-colour images that you’ll be proud to look back on for years to come.
TRUE TO COLOR
Timeless edits that keep your story authentic.
MORE THAN PHOTOS
It's about the people, places, and stories that make life meaningful.

Photographs
today, memories
forever.
MY APPROACH
Natural. Genuine. Timeless.
I take a relaxed, guided approach to every session, creating a comfortable environment where you can just be yourselves. My focus is on genuine interaction, real emotion, and beautiful light, so your photos feel natural and true to you.
A FEW THINGS ABOUT ME

FARM LIFE
I live on my family's farm in the Onoway area, surrounded by cattle, crops, horses, and plenty of Alberta sunsets.

HORSES
Horses have always been a part of my life and are actually part of what first pulled me toward photography.

COLOR PARTICULARITY
My editing style is classic and true-to-life. I want your photos to still look beautiful years from now, not like they belong to one particular era.

LOVE GETTING TO KNOW CLIENTS
Some families invite me back year after year, and watching kids grow up through my camera is one of the coolest parts of the job!

NOT AFRAID TO GET DIRTY
Farm sessions, livestock events, harvest, horses, mud, dust... cameras were apparently invented to be stress-tested.
